According to Article 179 of the Companies Act, shareholders of Limited Liability Companies (S.L. in Spanish) may attend general meetings. The bylaws governing the company cannot establish a minimum number of represented shares to attend the general meeting.
In Corporations (S.A. in Spanish), the bylaws may fix a minimum number of represented shares to attend general meetings. However, that number cannot be more than one-thousandth of the share capital.
