Introduction
I completed my law studies at the University of Pantheon-Sorbonne in Paris and, after an initial period at a major German law firm based in Düsseldorf, I joined Mariscal Abogados, where I was appointed partner in 2004.
Throughout my professional career, I have overseen the technical defence of top-tier companies from the banking, insurance and construction sectors in all types of legal proceedings, primarily in disputes with an international component.
Additionally, I have participated in arbitration proceedings administered by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, and the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Bar Association, either as a lawyer or as an arbitrator. Furthermore, I have an extensive experience in proceedings for the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgements in Spain.
I have been a speaker at various conferences organized by the Recoletos Group or IFAES and have contributed legal articles to prestigious national and international media outlets. I serve as an arbitrator for the Arbitration Court of the Madrid Bar Association, a member of the faculty for the Big Data program at the Superior Institute of Law and Economics (ISDE), and Secretary of the Canada Foundation.
Since 2016, I have held the Managing Partner position at the firm.

- Providing technical defence for financial entities CGI FINANCE and SGB FINANCE in all judicial instances regarding multiple disputes concerning boat financing.
- Legal assistance to the insurer group ALLIANZ in judicial proceedings related to international regulations applicable to various insurance contracts.
- Technical defence for GEORG FISCHER in various judicial disputes concerning construction law and director liability.
- Legal assistance to TURKISH PETROLEUM for the recognition and subsequent enforcement of an award from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Spain.
- Legal representation for the German group RODENSTOCK in various judicial proceedings related to agency matters.
- Legal assistance to CORPORACIÓN FINANCIERA ARCO in various corporate conflicts and insolvency and pre-insolvency incidents.
- Legal assistance to a prominent Austrian entrepreneur in an award’s recognition and subsequent enforcement issued by the Vienna International Arbitral Centre against a Spanish company listed on the IBEX35.
- Technical defence for several German entrepreneurs in connection with their involvement in insolvency proceedings as responsible parties for the generation and aggravation of insolvency in Spanish subsidiaries of the group.
Education
I hold a law degree with specialisation in European Union law by the University San Pablo CEU. I also obtained a Master’s degree in Legal and Economical European Studies in University Panteón-Sorbone in París.
