I hold dual qualifications and am licensed to practice law in both Germany and Spain. My expertise lies in Spanish-German cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, information technology law (IT) and real estate law.
I specialize in advising Mittelstand companies (medium-sized enterprises of German origin) and serve on several multinational boards, where I act as board secretary.
I am the President of the German Lawyers Association in Spain (DAV Spanien) and a Certified Expert of Switzerland Global Enterprise. I have served as an honorary member of the Board of Directors of the German Chamber of Commerce in Spain (AHK für Spanien), President of Wirtschaftsjunioren (association of young German executives in Spain), and Founder of the real estate law working group at Eurojuris International.
My articles and studies are regularly published in legal and economic journals and portals. Additionally, I am the author of several books, such as Business in Spain (GD Verlag, 2006), Business Guide Spain (Bundesanzeiger Verlag, 2012), and Investitionen und Steuern in Spanien (nwb Verlag, 2012).
Furthermore, I deliver lectures and training sessions to clients, institutions, and conferences on legal topics related to Spain. I also advise the City Council of Madrid on projects connected to German-speaking countries.
I have received recognition from the independent directory Who’s Who Legal as a leading lawyer in Information Technology since 2016. Additionally, I have been honoured by Best Lawyers as an outstanding lawyer since 2021.

- Providing comprehensive assistance to the German group Stockmeier in acquiring two industrial chemical production plants in Spain, including strategic support for their entry into the local market.
- Legal advisory to the German group Procast, controlled by the investment company Private Assets AG, in the acquisition of Fundiciones Garbi, a company in liquidation.
- Legal counsel to Joyson Safety Systems, a global leader in mobile safety, in the sale of 100% of its shares in Spanish companies in the automotive sector and other industries.
- Legal advice to the WAGO group in establishing its presence in Spain by integrating the activities of Dicomat, its exclusive commercial representative in Spain, through an asset acquisition.
- Advising the BayWa group on financing rounds, capital increases, and land lease agreements in La Muela, the largest wind farm in Spain.
- Legal advice to Apetito AG, active in the hotel sector, in its joint venture with Arcasa in Spain.
- Legal counsel to McFit, a leading gym company in Europe, to establish its presence in Spain and facilitate its market expansion.
- Establishment and expansion of a Tech Hub in Spain for the Otto group, along with continuous legal advice.
- Support for Swisscom during the acquisition of Webtiser S.A. in Spain and comprehensive post-acquisition advice.
- Ongoing training for the franchisors of the German real estate agency Dahler in Spain.
Education
I hold a Law degree from the Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn (1996). I took the First and Second Bar Exams in Germany administered by the Ministry of Justice in Düsseldorf in 1997 and 1999, respectively.
In 2001, I passed the aptitude exam to practice as a lawyer in Spain.
