In 2017, I spent four months as an intern at Mariscal Abogados, and after receiving my title as a ‘juris-doctor’ in Budapest, I decided to continue my higher education starting a master’s degree specialized in Compliance in Madrid. After making this decision, I had no doubt that I would love to go back to Mariscal & Abogados again.
There are many reasons, why my second internship has been even better than the first one.
Firstly, I had more experience working at the firm before, therefore I got more complex tasks with more responsibility. Instead of only administrative tasks, I had a chance to take part in many legal procedures: drafting of demands, filing an international patent application, drafting many types of commercial contracts, getting to know new areas of law (data protection, new technologies), drafting of Due Diligence reports, searching for jurisprudence and dealing with International Private Law and Company Law.
Moreover, and as my Spanish language skills greatly developed, I had a chance to work not only in English, but also in Spanish, which also helped me to get very interesting cases.
Additionally, during this one year, I got to know many professionals from different countries thanks to Mariscal Abogados. I learnt how to work in a group with interns from different countries like France, US, Germany, UK, Spain etc. As all the lawyers within the firm are highly qualified professionals, it was a pleasure to learn from them and work with them.
In conclusion, I can only say thanks to Mariscal Abogados for helping me on my path becoming a lawyer, get stronger and never give up my dreams to be a great professional.
